SNOW!

Late yesterday afternoon it started snowing. Granted, most of it melted as it hit the ground, but it was snow nonetheless. The nighttime temps were chilly enough that when we woke up this morning there was still a little bit of white stuff around... so we played around in the backyard until the sunshine started melting it away.

a few of my favorite things...

The current collection of items enjoying "most favored toy" status are a baby hairbrush, a bulb syringe, a mesh laundry bag, the laundry basket (especially if there is something in it), a pot lid (especially if you can bang something on it) and a plastic container. Toys-R-Us, eat your heart out!

Blech.

But who needs sleep?

And after all her restless nights while we were in KS, Madeline is back to sleeping like an angel. I think she just missed her crib.
