While I could do without the heat and humidity of summer, it is the time of year when the creature-viewing in our yard is most interesting...I wish our camera's shutter speed was quick enough to catch the hummingbirds and lizards in action, too.

And here is our intrepid huntress stalking her prey (albeit from the confines of the back porch)...
