Today marked two special occasions for us: my very first Mother's Day and our sixth anniversary.
We braved the downpours today and had a leisurely celebration brunch at Tripps. It had been a few years since we'd been there for brunch and we'd forgotten how full and happy our bellies would be as we finished our meals. Madeline gave her seal of approval to the freshly-squeezed OJ.
Happy Mother's Day to all the moms in our lives! We also send very happy wishes to the Fornellis on their 40th anniversary -- we're glad we get to share this special day with you!
